# Compiling Supercollider

Hi all, I’m trying to compile the latest version of SC in Linux mint 19.3 and I’m getting this :

[27%] Linking CXX static library libboost\_regex\_lib.a  
[27%] Built target boost\_regex\_lib  
Makefile:162: recipe for target ‘all’ failed  
make: \*\*\* [all] Error 2

any help or insight would be very welcome !

I think this will need advice from SC developers. (I’m a contributor but not very familiar with the build system.) Probably better to use the SuperCollider forum at [scsynth.org](http://scsynth.org).
