I use FoxDot under linux Lubuntu in its stable version. For that I open IDE, the editor of SC and I start FoxDot from SC.
But I have a problem with SC in this distribution. It freezes frequently when superimposed on another program, Firefox in particular. Is this known? Is there a solution ?
Never seen that. I use SC alongside Firefox all the time.
How have you configured Jack? It may be that Firefox is telling PulseAudio to try to take control of the audio device. That could affect SC’s behavior. (My system is set up so that PulseAudio plays through Jack, meaning that all audio apps cooperate – which may be why I don’t see this issue.)
