Visor - Call to play and provide feedback

I’d like to reach out to anyone who has had a chance to play with Visor to take part in a feedback survey that I’m running. This is also a call for those who haven’t experimented with Visor to check it out and provide feedback. Visor has been developed as part of my masters so the results will go towards my studies and inform the future direction of the tool.

For those who aren’t familiar, Visor is an environment for live coding visuals with Processing in the Ruby language. Visor aims to combine live coding and VJing practice to empower Processing for live performance. It aims to be user-friendly and offers features like a GUI for configuring layers, a tap tempo, and live coding of MIDI mappings. You can find out more about Visor at http://www.visor.live. The following footage from the TOPLAP livestream also shows what it’s like to perform with Visor.

If you take the time to experiment with Visor then I would really appreciate your participation in the feedback survey. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete and is a huge help to my research. You can find the survey at https://goo.gl/forms/Vrv2Ge8Rj1QCwpCc2

Cheers!
Jack
