What aspects of your "live coding" sets do you prepare in advance vs. code on the fly?

For clarification and without judgment: Could one say that using prepared scripts and commenting code in and out is closer to live algorithms than live coding? Then one could also call them live algorithms, which can be changed/influenced by live coding. The same would be true the other way around. When macros and code generation affects the input during live coding.
It’s not about separation, it’s about classification.
