hi , i m new to foxdot, i m using kubuntu latest version and i installed supercollider , foxdot and all plugins but whenever i run foxdot , i cant play any sound from my computer even with loop synth in foxdot, anyone can help?
What’s your audio driver (or audio device) for FoxDot? I had similar issues on Windows when using ASIO4ALL. By default it kind of blocked audio input and output for all other software.
Might be a similar issue in Kubuntu when you use ALSA. Using JACK should solve our problem, because it lets you route your audio among several applications and such. (I recommend Carla for multi-client stuff.)
